The Supporting Cast Foundation, Inc. was founded on February 24, 2009. The Foundation is dedicated to supporting Maryland public high school students who are interested in the performing arts. The Supporting Cast Foundation, Inc. is qualified as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Our tax identification number is 26-4439314.
On March 11, 2009, the Foundation held its first meeting. For 2009, the Foundation seeks to support facilitating the travel of a group of high school students who have been invited to perform the play RENT: School Edition, in Edinburgh, Scotland, in August 2009 as part of the American High School Theatre Project. The Foundation is an independent educational foundation and as such is not affiliated with any high school, school system, or any other institutions. Donations to the Foundation may be tax exempt pending approval of our tax exempt status.
